In the course of history, the horse has proven himself as indispensable servant to mankind. But does man deserve the horse?

Tempers and whips, and even more so, unnatural pressure from bits and reins have tested the horse's patience for thousands of years. Generations of riders believed they had to master the horse both physically and psychologically in order to make him obedient under saddle.
